Abels Flash point apparatus with auto flash detection

Service Overview

Compliance Standards :  IP 170/IP 33, IS 1448 (Part 20) , ISO 13736 – Abel Closed Cup Method, BS 2000 (Part related to Abel method)
Application :  Petroleum refineries and oil marketing companies, Petrochemical and lubricant testing laboratories, Quality control and R&D laboratories, Regulatory and inspection agencies.
Typical samples include: Kerosene, Aviation turbine fuel (ATF), Light petroleum products, Solvents and chemicals with low flash point range.

Product Description : The apparatus consists of a brass test cup assembly housed within a thermostatically controlled heating block, fitted with a motorised stirrer to ensure uniform temperature distribution of the sample. A digital temperature controller with display allows accurate monitoring and control of the heating rate as specified in the test standards. The automatic flash detection system detects the flash event electronically and immediately indicates the flash point temperature, eliminating operator subjectivity. The unit is mounted in a robust stainless steel top with powder-coated or GI body, making it suitable for continuous laboratory use. The compact bench-top design ensures safety, accuracy, and ease of operation.
