Product Desciption : The ASTM D1500 Color Comparator with Natural Light Source is a precision laboratory instrument designed for the visual determination of color of petroleum products, lubricating oils, fuels, waxes, and related products. The instrument compares the color of the test sample against standardized ASTM glass color standards under controlled natural light conditions to ensure accurate, repeatable, and standard-compliant results. The instrument is used for Visual determination of wide range of Petroleum products such as Lubricating oil, heating oil, diesel fuel oil and other Petroleum waxes. The liquid is placed into sample container and compared with colored glass disks ranging in the value from 0.5 to 8.
