Oil Distillation apparatus

Compliance Standard : ASTM D86 – Distillation of Petroleum Products at Atmospheric Pressure , IP 123, IS 1448 (P:18), ISO 3405
Application : Used for determination of the distillation characteristics of petroleum products such as gasoline, naphtha, kerosene, aviation fuels, diesel, solvents, and similar products. The refrigerated model ensures accurate condensation and recovery of distillate as required by the standard method. Widely used in petroleum laboratories, refineries, fuel depots, chemical labs, and QC/testing labs.

Product Description : The heating rate is controlled through an energy regulator, allowing precise adjustment as per the distillation rate specified in the standard. The condenser chamber is fitted with glass viewing windows for clear observation of the condenser tube and condensate flow.  A built-in refrigeration unit maintains the condenser bath temperature to ensure proper condensation even for low boiling fractions. The unit also includes a graduated receiver cylinder and thermometer support. The body is made of powder coated mild steel with insulated chamber and user-friendly controls.
