Suspended level Viscometer as per BS/IP/SL and Astm D446 - Calibrated
A suspended level viscometer measures viscosity by timing the flow of a liquid through a capillary tube, but it differs from other capillary viscometers by having a venting tube that equalizes pressure, making the measurement independent of the liquid's volume. This design ensures the liquid in the measuring bulb is isolated from the reservoir, and the time it takes to flow between two marks in the measuring bulb is used to calculate viscosity.
