Suspended level Viscometer shortened form as per BS/IP/Sl(S) and Astm D446 - Calibrated
"Suspended Level Viscometer Shortened Form" is a type of capillary viscometer used to measure the kinematic viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids. It's a variation of the Ubbelohde viscometer, which is itself a type of suspended-level viscometer. It delivers accurate kinematic viscosity measurements, particularly with the suspended level feature mitigating surface tension effects. It utilizes a capillary-based method. The liquid's flow time through a calibrated capillary under gravity is measured, and this time is then used to determine the kinematic viscosity.
