Calibrated U Tube Reverse Flow Viscometer as per BS/IP/RF and ASTM D 446 for opaque liquids - Calibrated
Description :
U-tube reverse flow viscometer is a type of capillary viscometer primarily used to measure the kinematic viscosity of opaque Newtonian liquids.Designed for opaque liquids: It's specifically engineered to overcome the challenge of observing the meniscus which is the curved surface of the liquid when using standard viscometers with dark or opaque fluids. The liquid is drawn up into the capillary and allowed to flow downwards through a timing section, wetted only during the actual measurement process. The viscosity is determined by measuring the time it takes for a specific volume of the liquid to flow between two marked points on the viscometer.
- Material : Borosilicate glass.
- Simple and robust to determine viscosity of dark & opaque liquids.
- Supplied with Certificate of Calibration @40°C / 100°C with Viscometer Constant.
- Nominal Overall length 275 mm, approximate sample volume 12-25 ml required.
- Country of origin : India.
