U Tube Viscometer as per BS/U and ASTM D446 for transparent liquids - Calibrated
A U-tube viscometer, also known as a capillary viscometer, measures the viscosity of a fluid by timing how long it takes a specific volume of the fluid to flow through a narrow capillary tube under controlled conditions, such as a constant temperature and using gravity or suction. The measured time, along with the viscometer's calibration constant, is then used to calculate the fluid's viscosity. They are used in various industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverages, to control the quality of liquids and ensure they meet specific viscosity requirements.
